Rihanna 'S&M' Video banned in 11 countries

The new Rihanna ‘S&M’ video has everyone responding. The fans are either appalled or laughing. Poking fun at uptight individuals who seem to be critiquing Rihanna a bit too seriously the entertainer took out her aggression on the video.

While the fans weigh in and the critics point, there is drastic action being taken to ban the video in some countries, because of the sexual content. Some Asian countries immediately censored it, BBC Radio 1 has restrictions that it  can’t be played until after 7pm and MTV is considering a re-edit.Now this is even after a course scene was edited out with Rihanna and a female dancer. According to The Mirror newspaper in the United Kingdom, there was some editing prior to release.

“Ri loved one raunchy scene involving a female dancer – but it was cut from the final edit for being too much.”

The publicity from the over the top video definitely has been helpful for the single to shoot towards the top of the charts. Currently at number 30 on iTunes, there isn’t any reason for Rihanna to worry.
